European Museum Night 2019
Posted in Events le
Ask a child what happens in a museum at night and they will tell you that they are full of magic. Scenes come to live, models and figure are animated to live out new adventures. For the majority of the year, kids can only dream about the world beyond those locked doors. The European Museum Night is a rare opportunity for families to head to a museum after dark and see what it is really like. Some of the museums taking part are tailoring their night to families with treasure trails and other activities. So, this is the perfect excuse for kids to stay up late and learn something at the same time.
The other bit of good news for families that want to take part in Museums Night 2019 is that most of the events are free of charge. You can turn up when you like to a range of venues on May 18th and have a great time. Families may be better off going early evening to avoid the late-night crowds. Full details are available here.
