Gustav Klimt : The Immersive Exhibition at L’Atelier des Lumières
Posted in Museums / Exhibits le
Gustav Klimt is famous for his bold use of colour and gold surrounding the female form. The Kiss is perhaps his most infamous work and one that captures these elements perfectly. Yet, there is more to this artist and his work. The Atelier des Lumières in Paris is currently showing an interactive, multimedia experience show that takes visitors on a journey through six themes of his work. It begins with a duo of neoclassic Vienna and the Vienna Secession. From there we take a journey through gold, nature, cityscapes and finally the women of his work.
The themes blend brilliantly with the music and the way that the deconstructed images dance around the room. This is an entirely new way to see Klimt’s work and fully appreciate the context and importance of key pieces. Art lovers are encouraged to see the show before it disappears on November 11th. It may require some repeat viewings to take everything in, so don’t miss out.
