King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh
Posted in Museums / Exhibits le
In 1922, nearly 100 years ago now, Howard Carter went to Egypt and finally shed light on the treasures buried within the tomb of King Tutankhamun. The world was amazed at what he found. Not only was the tomb full of strange items and artefacts, but there was also so much gold and opulence. The mythology and story of the young pharaoh have remained strong ever since. That is why so many people will enjoy the new Paris exhibition dedicated to the king and his treasures.
King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh at the Grande Halle de la Villette brings 150 pieces to the exhibition space in a wonderful interactive experience. The diversity of pieces, from childhood items to golden treasures, unveils a little more about the ancient king. This is a great idea for Ancient Egypt fans over the Easter break and the show continues until September 15th. Don’t miss out!
